My mom made this turtle costume for me in 1976. When I went home to visit we pulled it out and put it on Elise. It has held up pretty well considering it is 32 years old. I know I wasn't the only one to wear it either. I think all of my brothers were put in it at one time or another.Natasha and Yvonne Halloween 1976

Not only did you all wear it, but three of my kids wore that costume! And Carrie asked just yesterday if I had that cute turtle costume...I had to inform her that it wasn't ours:)I am going to try to find pictures now. That really is such a cute costume. Thanks, Margene!

That is just too adorable! Sheldon was a turtle last year for Halloween and the costume was modeled after one that my mom made for me that I think was modeled after the one your mom made for you! How fun. Oh, and I love the haircut, so cute!
