No Baby This Week
We had the amniocentesis done this morning and the lungs are not developed enough to have her this week. It is a bit of a let down but I want to do what's best for this little one so I will wait. I go back in next Wed. and they will test her lungs again. If the lungs are mature enough they will induce on Thurs. 3/20 If they still aren't mature they will wait another week (39 weeks) and induce then regardless. So we still have 1 maybe 2 weeks left. At least the house is ready and I can relax a bit. I am going to keep working until I have her so that is good and will keep me busy. I just have to remember that the longer she is in there the better. If she isn't ready I don't want to force it. It's not that I am tired of being pregnant it's because of my blood clot and being on blood thinners that the Doctors want to induce early. I just want to do what is best. So, we wait!!!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that your chubby little baby girl won't be here this Friday, but I think you are doing the right thing for her by waiting. Even though it stinks cuz you were so excited to meet her!!

Glad you'll still be around at work! Keep us updated!

yvonne -
good luck! sorry she wasn't quite "done" yet... but yes, probably best to let her stay warm & toasty a little longer until she's ready. I'm sure it seems like FOREVER to wait another week!?

we loved the 3D pictures, so cool to have pictures that look like a real baby!!! we are so excited for you. rest up as much as possible these next few days. keep us updated & best wishes from NY!

Wow i haven't been to your blog for a couple of days and now you have tons of cool pics! You young ladies are so lucky to have all the nifty techo embryonic photos and baby gizmos. I love the Ikea shelf and your nursery color scheme. I want to hold her! Hope she comes this week!

I'm sorry! I know it's hard to wait but it's so worth it. It's better to have her lungs ready and get to take her home and not have to leave her in the hospital. She will be done "baking" before you know it! Get as much rest and relaxation as possible before she gets here! You're going to need it. :-) Love ya lots!

Yvonne,
You are so brave, I am terrified of another high risk pregnancy. Those blue belly's are the worse. How has everything been with the blood thinners? Have you been on them the entire pregnancy? I pray a happy, healthy continued pregnancy and delivery for you and your new little one.

Hey Jimmy,

I can do lunch any time. When is it good for you. My home phone 766-8015 and my email is ggarrett73@aol.com. How do you know Lana and JR. Dansie. Lana is the girl I went out with from first security bank back 1998. Anyway I look forward to hearing from you.
